Sedona Vortex Energy and Beyond
Vortexes can be classified as masculine, feminine or balanced. In other words, the energy emanating from a specific vortex strengthens the masculine side of a personality, or the feminine aspect, or it enhances the yin/yang balance of one’s being.
Yoga Is Our Path Of Evolution
Look at our chronological time line, our evolution from primates to human beings, and there is no denying that we are continuing to evolve, most interestingly our minds. The capability of our brain, grey matter, and the cerebral cortex gives us consciousness that makes us human, and it is this consciousness that is evolving. The purpose of yoga is to expand the capability of our brain, so that we can function at a higher state of consciousness, awaken our potential energy, and purify the mind for the goal of transcending that which does not serve us. Basically, creating better ways of dealing with, coping, and responding to life. Buddha laid down the foundation of yoga in the "Eightfold Path" as a system of ethics that he cultivated in his teachings known as the "Four Noble Truths" emphasizing spiritual evolution, through meditation. The system of hatha yoga, emerged as a reintroduction of yoga, emphasizing the preparatory practices of purifying the body and it's elements before taking to the practice of meditation. Hatha yoga begins with the practice of shatkarma (purification techniques: neti, dhauti, basti, kapalbhati, trataka, and nauli) for the stomach, intestines, nervous system and other systems, to first purify the whole body before practicing the yamas and niyamas, respectfully, self-discipline and self-control. The idea is that self-control and self discipline start with the body. Also known as the science of purification, Hatha Yoga deems it necessary for the body to undergo a process of purification in order to purify the mind. Clearing the body of impurities removes energy blocks and allows prana, or life-force energy, to flow more freely through the nadis (psychic energy pathways in the subtle body) and move up to the brain. The objective is to create a balance between the interacting activities and processes of the physical body, mind, and energy. This balance awakens the central nadi, the sushumna, which is responsible for the evolution of human consciousness. |
Monsoon Nectar Bath Culture
Purifying your body starts with nourishing and caring for your skin, the largest organ in our body! Enhance your yoga practice on and off your mat with essential oils for the benefits of aromatherapy and topical application. Our skin is also the largest organ of our immune system, so it makes sense that people are healthier when they keep their skin nourished and moisturized. A hydrated cell is a defensive cell. Monsoon Nectar advocates anointing the skin with essential oils and botanicals everyday for these BENEFITS:
The daily ritual of bathing immerses you in negative ions, cleans the skin of impurities, and prepares the skin to absorb the therapeutic and health promoting properties of these NECTARS for better health and hygiene, mental clarity, and an over all sense of well-being. Yoga philosophy advocates bathing before coming to your mat to practice. Like yoga, aromatherapy supports the well-being of the body, mind, and spirit through topical application and inhalation of essential oil aroma. |
