I call these Sunset Yoga Sessions, because they took place 5:30-6:15 p.m. during the summer of 2021.

They begin while it is still daylight and by the time we get to sivasana the sun has set. Even though the screen will be quite dark, that is when you'll be in sivasana, or relaxation pose. Your eyes will be closed anyway:)

These are lo-fi, grassroots videos of yoga classes with a few participants. Follow along as if you were there! You will hear our opening and closing conversations surrounding the practice.

Purchase 1 or more classes and you will be sent a private YouTube link for viewing. You can watch it however many times you like.

Live stream is a special occasion and only when announced.

There are no class refunds.

Sedona Gentle/Yin/Restorative Yoga Podcast

Welcome to Sunset Yoga, Summer 2021: gentle/yin/restorative practices to destress and reset your mind and body.

Popular themes:
Exploring Bhujangasana - Bhujangasana, or Cobra Pose, represents our ability overcome fear. While the cobra is generally considered to be a creature that evokes fear, our ability to look past this initial instinct and view fear from a new perspective is key to helping us move past it. Snakes represent transformation.

Around the neck of Nataraja, or Shiva, hangs a cobra. The cobra’s venom is a symbol of avidya, or the veil of illusion that prevents us from knowing our true nature as divine. It is this veil that keeps us living in fear. Removing this veil removes the fearsome nature of the cobra, for fear is tied to the veil of illusion. Once we understand our true nature, fear is no longer relevant.
